Fleckney: St Nicholas

WELCOME TO ST NICHOLAS, FLECKNEY

Part of the Wistow Benefice with St Wistan, Wistow; St Luke, Newton Harcourt; and St Mary Magdalene, Kilby

Welcome to our home page.

Our four beautiful churches have stood for many centuries and throughout that time people have come to celebrate the most important milestones of human life. Our churches are sermons in stone that point to the living faith of the people who worship in them. Our churches speak to us of God and of the victory of Jesus Christ over sin, suffering and death, and all that disfigures life on earth. Within these churches you will be able to hear the good news of Jesus Christ, and to receive strength and healing from Him through the celebration of the life-giving sacraments that He confided to his Church.

We hope you will find our website to be a useful introduction to the work of the Church and the Wistow benefice. We pray that God will bless you and will find life in his Name.

Safeguarding

The parish of Fleckney: St Nicholas is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
