Gaulby: St Peter

Welcome to our 13th century church of St Peter in the small Leicestershire village of Gaulby, 7 miles east of the city of Leicester. We are part of the Gaulby Group of 4 churches and the Launde Deanery Minster Community. Despite its small size, Gaulby has a strong sense of community and there are a number of local events and activities that take place throughout the year. Gaulby is a charming and picturesque village that offers a peaceful and idyllic way of life.

We have occasional services, more frequent services are held at the other churches within the Gaulby Group (see the newsletter available via this page) and elsewhere within the Launde Deanery Minster Community (at Welcome to the Launde Deanery Minster Community Website – see Service Times tab).

The parish of Gaulby is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
