Church of the Good Shepherd

The Church of the Good Shepherd is situated in the heart of the village of Hamstreet. Originally built as a Methodist Chapel, for 50 years it is part of a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) between the Methodist Church and the Church of England. The community does not see itself as either Anglican or Methodist, seeking to be witness to a unified Christian mission and identity in worship and outreach to the wider community. We are a welcoming community, open to young and old alike, and would love to see you come along and join us at one of our weekly Sunday services. Our services alternate between Methodist and Anglican patterns of worship, held each Sunday @ 10.30am.

This Lent we will be reflecting on the Lord's Prayer by basing our sessions on Archbishop Stephen Cottrell's book entitled "Praying by Heart - The Lord's Prayer for Everyone". Our sessions will be held on five consecutive Thursdays, starting from Thurs 26th February and ending Thurs 26th March. Each session begins at 7pm and should last one hour. Please download the poster/flyer for details of dates and locations. All are most welcome!
