Loddon

Welcome to The Church in Loddon. We are a local ecumencial partnership between the Church of England and the Methodist Church meeting in St John, Loddon and Holy Trinity, Loddon.

In the winter months, Sunday services are held in the more modern St John's church building, and during the summer we use Holy Trinity. We hold a range of different service styles, mostly 'Common Worship' - modern language with a traditional feel - and a modern contemporary evening service on the last Sunday of each month. More traditional prayer book services can be found at the other churches in our benefice as well as other alternative style services. Families are welcome at all our services, with children's provision at Loddon on most Sundays.

Check out our website and FaceBook pages for up to date information.

We have made congregation-friendly videos of nearly 550 hymns and songs, all of which are on our You Tube channel. You are free to view and use these videos to aid your ministry.

Holy Trinity Church will be open for private prayer during daylight hours.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Loddon w Hales & Heckingham is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Mrs Tricia Bell [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor found on the Diocese of Norwich website. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
