Kirk Malew

An historic church on the Southern 100 course with an ancient burial ground on both sides of the road.  Home to memorials to famous Manx people, including Illiam Dhone.  This church was once the Parish church for Castletown when it was the Ancient Capital of Mann.  Parking is limited on the road and the church has toilets attached.  Open daily for prayer and reflection and all are welcome to our services on a Sunday morning.  Traditional services using the Book of Common Prayer, usually on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

Safeguarding

"The parish of Malew and Santan is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Sodor and Man’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."

Our Safeguarding Officer is Ellen Halliwell who can be contacted on 01624 824382/07624 481130 or at [email protected]
