St. Nicholas

Please come on in and browse our site to find out what we're about, and what we can offer in our town.

You can find out about our regular church services and our 'specials' such as Easter, Christmas, Harvest Festival and so on. Find out how we can help you with life's happy events such as marriages and baptisms, and the not so happy ones such as Funerals.

We also aim to serve the community. Our Community Cafe, hosted by SWALLOW, is open from Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm. We also host the Somer Valley Foodbank on Wednesdays from 12 midday to 2pm. In term times, our Sunbeams' tiddlers and toddlers group meet from 9 until 11am.

We offer a unique service to the Deaf community. Not only do we have a hearing aid loop, but we also have signers who are able to interpret throughout the Services (at BSL Stage 2). Please ask if you require this service.

You can find out a bit about who we are behind the scenes, and if you are really desperate for something to read, we can even show you our data protection policy!

Mindful of our Safeguarding responsibilities, please check out our Safeguarding page, with details of what to do and who to contact should you have a concern.

Safeguarding

St. Nicholas' Church in Radstock and St. Peter's Church in Westfield are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children's or Adults' Services
