Holy Trinity Church, Seghill

Welcome to our church, we are here to serve the whole community - not just those who come to church

You can also find us on Facebook at Holy Trinity Church Seghill.

We are always happy to talk with people who would like to have their child christened, or to be married at Holy Trinity. Normally you need to have a connection with the area, but please be in touch to talk about this if you would like to explore it. We will want to do all we can to make your day as memorable as possible.

We are also very happy to be as helpful and supportive as we can when somebody dies

As you have observed and participated in today's service for the Queen, please know that C of E funeral services are available for everyone. Absolutely everyone, whatever their lives have brought to them.Traditional service in church? We can help you. Service at the crem? We can help you. Memorial after a direct cremation? We can help you.The content of any service for your loved one will be carefully crafted to suit your family and your loved one. Traditional elements, modern elements, personal words shared with you and for you. We're not just there for a service or event, we're there for all the in between times too - when you want to connect to a community of hope, be welcomed as you are, or light a candle, or be somewhere that knows and accepts mourning goes on.It's not expensive to have a funeral or memorial in church, or to have clergy lead your service at the crem. If we don't know you we will get to know you, listen to you and help you say your goodbyes. As we honour and pay tribute to the Queen, please know that her Church, the Church of England, is for everyone, and we will help you honour your loved one too with the same faith and hope in God's promises for them.(Gratefully borrowed from Huddersfield Parish Church - but equally true for Holy Trinity)
