Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking an interest in the Church of St Martin of Tours, Barholm-with-Stowe.

Moving on to the month of July, 'where did the first six months of the year go...'

Fr Aran will lead a service of Evening Prayer (BCP) at 6pm on Sunday July 6th, 2025, when we join together listening to scripture, which is the heart of Evening Prayer and singing four well known and traditional hymns. You will be warmly welcomed at the door by Tricia or Colin and given a simple Order of Service booklet and Hymn Book to follow.

We will follow Seasonal Scripture Readings from regular members of the congregation, this month it's Anne, Colin and myself taking the lessons and responsorial psalm , however ANYONE is welcome to read in church and if any help/guidance is needed please speak with me or Fr Aran directly.

We will join in the singing of four well known, traditional hymns accompanied at the Organ by Julia.

We warmly invite you to join us on Saturday 5th July from 10.30am onwards in the Church Porch for Morning Coffee/Tea and delicious homemade cakes, biscuits and cordials - we can chat with Fr Aran, the PCC, the regular church congregation, your friends and neighbours as to how we meet the changing expectations of the church in the seven villages and its ministry.
