About Us

Following a Deanery re-organisation in 2024, we are becoming the Benefice of Abbas and Templecombe, Henstridge, Holton, Horsington and North Cheriton. As a fairly new, (though not quite yet official) five parish benefice, we are already working together, including holding joint services that rotate around our parishes on 4th and 5th Sundays each month.  Our new name is proposed to be 'The Bow Brook Benefice', named after the brook that flows through all 5 parish boundaries. Nestled in South Somerset, our Bow Brook Benefice follows the A357 Southwards from the A303, encompassing 5 medium and small rural parishes.

Our focus at present is on helping one another encounter God daily to be Christ-like in our community.
