A said service using the Book of Common Prayer.

Soup and bread lunch followed by cake, for anyone who would like company at lunchtime.

Normally every 4th Monday, except in May, August and December.

No charge, but donations can be made for anyone who wishes to.

Evening Prayer on Zoom: Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays at 8pm for about 20 minutes.
Tuesday and Thursday alternate Compline and Worship at Home.
Wednesday is Book of Common Prayer.

Private baptism service

A communion service in contemporary language.
There may be a short reflection on the bible reading for the day.

On the first Saturday of every month the Supporters of St Peter's welcome everyone to join them for coffee and home made cakes to help raise funds for the church. It is a lovely to time to come and meet or catch up with people in community and is suitable for children and adults of all ages!

An relaxed service, that starts with breakfast! Come and join us from 9am for a bacon roll and coffee, (toast, cereal and other drinks also available). After (or during if you are still eating!) breakfast, we have an informal short service. There is also a play mat and craft table for the children.

This is a service made up of readings, sermon and prayers. It uses contemporary language and can last up to an hour.
During the service, Children are invited over to the church office for "Children's Church" where they will do activities based on the Sunday Readings.

After the service, tea, coffee and biscuits are served for all to enjoy.

All are welcome to join us as we start a new service on the First Sunday of each month!

A private communion for the residence of Court House Care Home.

A service of Holy Communion in contemporary language. The Service begins at 11.30 to allow for prayers at 12 noon when Worldwide Mothers’ Union members pray for each other and the work of Mothers’ Union. All are very welcome at this service. There is an opportunity to give to the work of MU as a collection is taken at this service but please do not feel it is an obligation.

The treasure trail on Sat 20th June will start at 1.45pm and finish at 4.30pm.

Those with the correct answer will be entered into the draw for the luxury hamper which will be at 4.15pm. Start and finish at the church hall.

Lovely refreshments throughout the afternoon will be served.

A raffle will also be held.

All donations will go towards church funds.

The Supporters of St Peter's Church invite everyone to the St Peter's tide Celebration.

Fun and Games for all the family, including: Pig racing, Hoop the Flamingo, Splat the Rat, Guess the sweets in a jar, guess the weight of the cake!

There will be refreshments including, Cream teas, burgers and hot dogs.

All games and refreshments will be available to purchase using tokens which can be brought on the gate with cash or card!

For children aged from 5 to 12 years

This year we are again offering a FREE Church Holiday Club, which will be taking place in Cheddar Village Hall and the Old Vicarage garden from 9.30am to 12.30pm, for four days from Monday 24th to Thursday 27th August 2026.

We will be looking at stories and their meanings (parables) that Jesus told using games, craft activities and storytelling.

Booking forms should be returned by the end of term if you want to secure a place for your child/ren. Some years we are oversubscribed so please only sign up if your child is able to come for the whole week, not just the odd day.

On the Thursday, at the end of the session, we will share what we have been doing during our time together, hopefully giving you a glimpse of the fun the children have enjoyed at Holiday Club. There will also be a barbeque in the Old Vicarage garden, weather permitting, so do try to keep this date free. There will be more details of this during the Holiday Club
