Parish of Minehead

Welcome to the Parish of Minehead.

"We are a God-centred, inclusive, and joyful church, where all are welcomed and valued, sharing the love of Jesus in our community."

We are a single parish blessed with 3 places of worship; St Andrew's in Wellington Square; St Michael's on North Hill; and St Peter's on the Quay.  We embrace a diversity of worship styles and fellowship, and we would love to meet you!

Please click on one of the map pins to go to that church's individual page, or explore the tabs to find out more about us!

Safeguarding

"Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSOs). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact one of the PSOs; Tracey Staples or Diane Newton, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (Diocese of Bath & Wells), Ben Goodhind. The Diocesan link is found below. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
