Holy Communion Service led by Revd Dr Allison Fenton
Please do come and enjoy a Wine and Cheese Evening at St Mary's Church, High Hesket on Friday 11th September at 7pm. Tickets £15 (available from Jill on 07751972189) includes the chance to taste four different wines, with a small talk on each wine, accompanied by cheese and nibbles. There is also a raffle.
A traditional service, with hymns accompanied by organ music.
We use Common Worship, and the service lasts for about 1 hour.
There are usually refreshments served at the end of the service
A traditional service of BCP holy communion (using some 1928 adaptions).
We are accompanied by a traditional pumped organ.
There are readings from the King James bible and there is usually a sermon of 10 minutes.
Come and join us on Saturday 19th September at 7pm for a harvest supper followed by the auction of produce in aid of Ainstable Church funds. £10 adult, £5 children. There will also be a raffle. St James Church, Hutton in the Forest, will celebrate Harvest Festival on Sunday 27th September with Evensong at 5pm, followed by our Harvest Supper in Hutton End Village Hall. Come ad share it all with us.
