St John the Baptist, Guilden Sutton, and St Peter's, Plemstall

The benefice of St Peter's, Plemstall, and St John the Baptist, Guilden Sutton, consists of two parishes. St Peter's is an historic building, made famous through its connection with St Plegmund, a 10th century saint. It is a large, sandstone building, nestling in farmland a short walk from the main village. St John the Baptist is a 200 year old brick building which sits perched above the old village part of Guilden Sutton. The approach path from the road includes steps which may be challenging for some. St John's is regularly open for visitors to find a quiet space.
