The Bridges Group: Six Parishes, One Community
Nestled in the beautiful South Warwickshire countryside, the Bridges Group brings together six rural parish churches: Lower Shuckburgh, Napton, Priors Hardwick, Priors Marston, Stockton, and Wormleighton. United by faith, friendship, and a shared commitment to serving their communities, these churches form a vibrant Christian fellowship at the heart of village life.
The group's name is inspired by the distinctive red-brick humpback bridges that span the nearby Grand Union and Oxford canals, physically linking the villages and symbolising the connections between the parishes.
While each church has its own history, character, and traditions, the six parishes work together to offer worship, pastoral care, community events, and opportunities for people of all ages to explore and grow in their faith. From seasonal celebrations and family services to village gatherings and outreach activities, the Bridges Group seeks to be a welcoming presence for everyone in the local area.
Whether you are a long-standing church member, new to the area, or simply curious about the Christian faith, you will find a warm welcome across all six parishes. Together, the Bridges Group continues to build connections between people, communities, and God.
