Billingham Team Parish

Billingham Team Parish is a Church of England parish in the Diocese of Durham, covering the area of Billingham, Wolviston, The Clarences, Cowpen Bewley, Newton Bewley and the Seal Sands Industrial Estate. We work for the good of the whole parish from church centres at St Aidan's, St Cuthbert's, St Luke's and St Peter's Wolviston.

The parish is in a big period of change at the moment, and we'll be posting regularly to keep you in the picture, and maybe inspire you to be a part of the changes.

Come and See

Every First, Third Sunday at for 1 hour
St Luke's Billingham (Low Grange)

At Come and See, we do exactly that. We gather, pray, study, sing and see what God has to say to us. It's a low-key gathering equally suited to those exploring faith for the first time, or seeking to feed a life-long faith.

Play and Priase

Every Monday at for 1 hour, 30 mins

Play and Praise is a simple service for pre schoolers (0-3) to nurture their innate spirituality! During term-time there is a service every Monday at St Aidan's from 9.30am to 11.00 am. Action songs, story, followed by tea, coffee and play. Play and Praise also meets at St Peter's on Fridays at the same time.

Afro-Beat Praise and Worship Dance for Wellbeing

Monthly. Every Third Wednesday at for 1 hour, 30 mins

It is what it says on the tin - it's all about dance, the music is afro-beat, you can't help worshipping, and it does you good. It's about friendship, fun, confidence-building, and fitness too. And if you can stop yourself smiling and laughing, you're a real Scrooge character. Some people 'dance' sitting down - whatever size, shape, age or fitness level, you can join in. Why don't you?

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
