South Dartmoor Mission Community

Our mission community is the partnership of Anglican churches serving the parishes of  Cornwood, Harford, Ivybridge and Sparkwell. Although each of our churches is unique and serves a diverse range of communities, we are united by our calling to grow in prayer, make disciples and serve the people in the South Dartmoor area of Devon with joy.

This calling is shaped by the part we play in a wider partnership of churches called the Exeter Diocese, led by the Bishop of Exeter and his Bishop colleagues and the wider team of clergy, lay ministers and officers who serve within the diocese.

Licencing Service for South Dartmoor Mission Community

You’re warmly invited to St John’s Church, Ivybridge, at 10:30am Sunday 27th September for the Licensing Service of the Rev’d Phil Dykes, the new Interim Minister for the South Dartmoor Mission Community.
The Venerable Jane Bakker, Archdeacon of Plymouth, will license Phil during this special service, which will also include Holy Communion.
Come and join the congregations of Cornwood, Harford, Ivybridge and Sparkwell as we gather together for worship, prayer and fellowship, and welcome Phil to the South Dartmoor Mission Community.
Whether you are a regular churchgoer, returning after some time away, or visiting for the first time, you will be very warmly welcome.
