The Presteigne Group of Parishes

The Presteigne group of parishes, situated in the Welsh Marches and includes St Andrew's, Presteigne with St Michael's, Discoed; All Saints', Kinsham; St Michael and All Angels', Knill; and St Michael and All Angels', Lingen.

Presteigne and Discoed are in Powys, Wales; Kinsham, Knill and Lingen are in England, but all our churches belong to the Church of England Diocese of Hereford. Our Rector is the Revd Prebendary Stephen Hollinghurst and our Associate Minister is the Revd Debbie Venables. We try to keep our beautiful, ancient church buildings open as much as possible for people to visit.

Our regular Coffee Morning in St Andrew's Church Hall will be expanded this month to include a Plant Sale and Produce Stalls in addition to our usual bric-a-brac and cake stalls, raffle and refreshments. Proceeds go to church funds. Everyone is warmly invited to come and join us for what should be a lovely, sociable occasion.

Service of Prayer for Healing at St Michael's Discoed

This will be a gentle, thoughtful service focusing on our common need for healing of body, mind and spirit. At a key point in the service members of the congregation will be invited to come to the altar rail to be prayed for by name with the laying on of hands. This is entirely optional though warmly encouraged.
