Next Sunday 8 November is REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY. As usual we will mark it with a civic ceremony at the War Memorial at the end of Hereford Street beside John Beddoes School, followed by a church service in St Andrew’s. The timetable is as follows:

10 am Muster of uniformed organisations at the Presteigne War Memorial

10.15 am Act of Remembrance with the laying of wreaths at the War Memorial

10.50 am Royal British Legion Remembrance Service St Andrew’s Church, Presteigne

Everyone is most warmly invited to attend either or both of these events, whether you normally attend St Andrew’s or any of the town’s other churches, or not.
