Mid-Trent Team Celebration  -  Palm Sunday 29th March

This year Mid Trent wants to celebrate this special day with something a little different.

Those who will enjoy a longer walk will meet at St Andrews, Weston at 9-45am. The group will carry a cross along the towpath and offer palm crosses to anyone they meet!

Arriving at the bridge in Salt, they will then walk to the Village Hall.

From 10-15am Salt Village Hall will be open for tea and coffee.

People who have not made the trek along the towpath will gather there and meet with the walkers and share refreshments. Around 11-00am there will be a procession from Salt Village Hall to the Church.

The Salt Art group is designing a creation to represent the donkey and this will be displayed in church.
