We received news this week that Warkworth's dear friend Peter McMeekin died on the 12th April following a short illness. Peter had, as you know, been able to spend the last few months with family in Tasmania, although his daughter Kate said how very much he nevertheless missed his friends here. There will be a service of Thanksgiving for his life at St Lawrence when the family return to inter his ashes later this year.
