Starting Rite is a free five-week course for parents with babies under 12 months, offering a relaxed space to play, meet others, and wonder together about God and faith.The course runs on Tuesdays: 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 June, from 10am to 11:30am, in the Community Room at St Mary’s Church, Longframlington.Places are limited and booking is essential. The WEB Music Festival brings together Whittingham, Edlingham and Bolton for a week of musical concerts in our wonderful venues.On Saturday 6th June, the Claptones come to Bolton Village Hall. The concert begins at 7pm and there will be a bar available.On Friday 12th June, the Bridge Singers perform in Edlingham Church at 7:30pmAnd on Saturday 13th June, the Coquet Convert Band performs in St Bartholomew's Whittingham at 7pm.To round things off, we are holding a Thanksgiving Service at Edlingham to mark the completion of the gateway project. We are delighted that the Bishop of Newcastle will be joining us for this.Tickets are available on the door for £8 per person, and this includes light refreshments. Card payments also accepted.

Alpha brings together people from all walks of life who are curious about faith. Each session starts with some time to eat, relax and get to know your group.Each session covers a different topic of faith, either in a short talk or video. The Alpha episodes are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They’re about thirty minutes long and explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us?The last part of an Alpha is a chance to share your thoughts on the session’s topic and discuss it in your small groups. It’s an open and welcoming environment, no matter what your opinion.
