About Us

Our Benefice comprises the villages of Banningham, Colby, Felmingham, Skeyton, Sloley, Suffield, Swanton Abbott and Tuttington, covering the area between the market towns of Aylsham and North Walsham, and straddling the boundary between Broadland and North Norfolk District Councils. We are a United Benefice, and a single parish, with one Parochial Church Council (PCC). This greatly simplifies administration of our services and buildings. It also means that we work together as a single team on benefice-wide matters, and have several local teams that care for their individual churches and churchyards. We are grateful to the Rector and PCC who put this scheme into operation several years ago, as it is seen as a helpful model for other multi-parish rural benefices to consider.
