Our monthly magazine, full of exciting announcements and thought provoking pieces
On June 24th, Memory Lane Café invited anybody who would like to join us to come on the Queen of the Broads, a boat trip, cruising the Norfolk Broads from Wroxham. Lunch was provided – sandwiches from Fizz & Fromage, Wroxham! Chris Rondell sang and entertained everybody as we cruised - all of us cannot thank Chris enough for his brilliant singing! The crew on the boat were all fantastic and joined in with the singing and dancing. “A fabulous day had by all”, “The most relaxing day”, “can’t wait until the next one!”, “Best day I have had for a long time!”.We all sang and waved to all the other boats and people along the way – I do hope we did not disturb them too much!
Many thanks to our eco church team and the tireless efforts of Meg (& Jimmy!) Dinnes, Church Warden, and Liz Carr, our EcoChurch Representative! Here at the Trunch Group, we are keen ensure our benefice is as eco friendly as possible. St Giles is the 6th church within the group to achieve silver status.
Big thanks to David for installing our new bike hooks at Mundesley Community Hub! In our mission to become greener and more eco-friendly, we now have convenient bike hooks that fit most bike locks.Pictured, we have Wendys bike (with a cameo from her beautiful pup, Dotty) utilising one of the new hooks! If you would like to cycle to one of our churches, you are most welcome to bring your bike inside as there is ample room!
