About Us

The Benefice of Walsingham, Houghton, The Barshams and Hempton with Pudding Norton is made up of seven worshipping communities seeking to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with parishioners, pilgrims and visitors to this beautiful part of North Norfolk.

Worship within the Benefice includes a daily Mass (see our website for details) and The Blessed Sacrament is reserved in Saint Mary & All Saints, Little Walsingham, St Peter’s, Great Walsingham, S. Giles, Houghton in the Dale and Holy Trinity, Hempton.

The parishes are part of the see of Richborough and are part of the Society of S. Wilfrid and S. Hilda so that we provide ministry and sacraments and receive oversight of which all can receive with confidence.
