Lambourn Valley Benefice

Linked by the upper reaches of the River Lambourn, the Lambourn Valley Benefice consists of the Parishes of Eastbury Saint James, East Garston All Saints and Lambourn Saint Michael & All Angels. The three parishes have distinctive characteristics and individual strengths and challenges but share a common purpose to ensure the continuance and enhancement of God’s work in the Lambourn Valley – “The Valley of the Racehorse”.

Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, we warmly welcome you and hope that our website gives you the information you need. We would be delighted to see you at one of our churches either for Sunday worship or for some other service or event.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Lambourn is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.
If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Doug Kirby 07946364232 [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor 01865 208 284 or email [email protected].
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
