About Us

Welcome to the Barton Benefice, with its five distinct parishes of Westcote Barton, Steeple Barton, Sandford St Martin, Duns Tew and Over with Nether Worton. Sitting in the heart of the beautiful North Oxfordshire countryside on the edge of the Cotswolds we are midway between Oxford and Banbury.

Our churches are seen as an integral part of each village community and are greatly valued by both regular churchgoers and the wider community. We currently enjoy a range of worship styles across our different churches, and endeavour to offer something for everyone: from relaxed family services and informal evening services in a village hall, through Common Worship Eucharists to Book of Common Prayer Evensongs.
