The Parish of All Saints' Houghton Regis

ABOUT THE PARISH

The Church of England Parish of All Saints serves the town of Houghton Regis, parts of North Dunstable Ward, and the historic settlements of Bidwell, Sewell, and Thorn with a combined population of about 24,000 residents. The new residential areas of Bidwell West and Linmere, to the north of Houghton Regis, are also part of the parish.

There are two Church of England schools in the parish; Thomas Whitehead Academy (age range 2 to 11) and All Saints’ Academy Dunstable (11 to 18).

The Grade I listed Parish Church of All Saints is located in at the heart of the town, on the corner of the High Street and Bedford Road. St Thomas' Church, on Lowry Drive, houses the Parish Office and it is our second worship space; a purpose-built church and community centre.

Curious about Christianity?
You’re warmly invited to Exploring Christianity — a relaxed series of Tuesday evening talks at St Thomas’ Church, beginning at 7:30pm.
Together, we’ll explore the basics of the Christian faith: who Jesus is, what Christians believe, and why it still matters today. Whether you’re just curious, returning after some time away, or looking to go deeper, you are very welcome.
Each evening will include time for reflection and will conclude with prayer.
Come as you are.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor.
If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
