Howdenshire Benefice

A group of 6 parishes including Howden, Eastrington, Wressle, Newport and Gilberdyke, Laxton and Blacktoft.  At present we are in a vacancy and have no Rector but we do have 1 Licenced Lay Minister and 2 Authorised Lay Ministers.  Services are continuing as normal with visiting clergy who are also covering occasional services such as weddings, christenings and funerals.

Weekly Organ Recitals on the acclaimed 1929 Rushworth and Dreaper organ are held on Monday's at 1pm from 29 June to 31 August. There is also a special celebrity concert by renowned Norwegian organist Victoria Ulriksen on Friday 21 August at 7pm.

Big screen TV's are set up so you can see the organist at the console, and wonderful cake and refreshments are available after the concerts.

Free admission with retiring donations to maintain the Minster organ.
