The Parish of Broughton, Marton and Thornton
You will find a warm welcome from everyone in The Parish of Broughton, Marton & Thornton situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. There are three ancient churches serving the rural community of under a thousand people. Our three churches offer styles of worship which range from Book of Common Prayer to Common Worship. We have extended episcopal care from the Bishop of Wakefield.

Safeguarding
"Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Mrs Sarah White] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [https://www.leeds.anglican.org/safeguarding.php]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
