Eucharist refers to a service which includes times of prayer, singing, praise, Bible readings, time of reflecting on our faith together, sharing the peace ( shaking hands with one another), affirming what we believe (creed), receiving bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus ( Holy Communion). At St Anne's, we use Common Worship, the Church of England's modern form of service, as the basis for our worship. Sometimes there may be a baptism in this service.

All ages are welcome at all the Sunday services. Children are welcome in our worship, and there is a children's area for young children to enable them to remain part of worship.

🌿 Thanksgiving for Healing — an evening of gratitude, prayer and and hope

Join us at St Anne’s Church, Catterick Village, on Sunday 27 September at 6pm, for a special service led by Steve and Martin.

We’ll be giving thanks to God for healing, and for the people, care and kindness that have helped us along the way. Whatever your reason for being thankful, you’re welcome to bring it.

There will be an opportunity to share a few personal words of thanks. If you’d like to speak, please prepare up to 200 words — about two minutes — so there’s time for everyone.

If you have a thanksgiving you’d like included in the prayers, please let Peter or Steve know beforehand.

You’re equally welcome simply to come, listen and pray. Whether you have something to celebrate or are still going through a difficult time, there is a place for you.

Refreshments will be served after the service.

All welcome — please share this invitation.
