Washburn & Midwharfe Benefice

The United Benefice of Washburn and Mid-Wharfe comprises the four parishes of Farnley, Fewston with Blubberhouses, Leathley, and Weston with Denton. The Benefice is blessed to be situated in the southern part of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located between Wharfedale and Harrogate, the area is home to some of the most beautiful countryside Yorkshire has to offer, and is well placed for access to the thriving university cities of Leeds and York.

Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Rebecca Campbell (01943 818600 or 07973 334298), the Vicar Revd. Teresa McLaughlin ([email protected] or 01943 818113) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [add their details here or use the button below to link to your own page that shows the info or the diocesan safeguarding page. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
