A Special Invitation to Welcome Revd Pippa White
It is our great delight to invite you to join us for the Collation and Induction of the Reverend Pippa White as Rector of the Benefice of Newport with Longford, and Chetwynd.
The service will be held at St Michael and All Angels, Chetwynd on Saturday 17th October 2026 at 2.00pm.
This is a special occasion as we welcome Pippa as our new Rector and begin a new chapter in the life of our churches. We would love as many of our congregation, friends and members of the wider community as possible to join us.
The Collation of Pippa by the Bishop of Shrewsbury will be followed by her Induction by the Archdeacon of Salop, and then conclude with Eucharist led by the Bishop of Shrewsbury.
Everyone is very welcome — this is not an invitation-only occasion.
We are expecting a large attendance and have arranged overflow accommodation for the service. There will also be ample off- street parking close to the church, with people available to help direct you.
Please stay and celebrate with us.
Following the service, please join us for a drinks reception in a marquee in the gardens of Chetwynd Manor, immediately next door to the church. It will be a lovely opportunity to celebrate together and give Pippa a personal welcome.
