Christ Church

Welcome. Whether you live in Redhill, pass through the village or are just interested, you are always welcome to be part of our church. This is a warm and welcoming church that seeks to serve its community to the glory of God.

Through these strange times we remain an active and working Church. We have resumed our weekly calendar of Services and some of the regular social events. However, we still encourage people to wear face coverings when in the building and sanitize the church after Services.

Our church building is open every day for private prayer.

At this time, more than any other, we need to maintain our sense of unity under God. If there is anything you would like to be included in our prayers in particular, please send me a message via this website.

The parish of Wrington is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bath & Wells’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

A relaxed Service to which all are welcome. We celebrate the week just gone and look forward to the week to come, reflecting on the relevance of Christ's Gospel to our time and needs. We pray for our Community, our Country and our World, asking for guidance on how best we can work for the coming of God's Kingdom on Earth. All this in the context of Holy Communion, by which we are fed and inspired. We finish with a cup of coffee or whatever, outside, as is required in these strange times. Our last hymn is sung outside, weather permitting.
Do join us.

Crib Service in the open air, for all to see and enjoy.
