About Us

The church of St George the Martyr Hindolveston was built in the early 1930's as a replacement for the original church which fell down in 1892.  the ruins of the old church are in the churchyard which is located outside the village and is still used for burials.

The village of Hindolveston itself is a rural village with ancient Viking roots.  Hindolveston is a very lively and friendly village with a close knit and friendly community.

The parish is part of the United Benefice of Briston, Burgh Parva, Hindolveston and Melton Constable.  We have a mixture of services and would love you to join us.  If you don't see a service at Hindolveston please look at service times for our other churches by clicking on the More Information Button.
