Getting here

You are very welcome to our medieval church of St Mary in Carleton Forehoe. The Church can be easily seen from the Watton Road as it lies in a large field on the village edge. Parking is available in the farmyard next to the church and is clearly signposted when services are scheduled. In winter bring a torch as there are no street lights and footwear suitable for walking across a field! There are no toilets unfortunately. Refreshments are often served after services but check the calendar for details.

St Mary’s Church is part of the Barnham Broom and Upper Yare Team of Parishes: a Group of 13 parishes with 15 churches. We are a rural church dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving the community. Worship takes place once a month on average, but on the first Sunday of each month all the village communities join together for worship in one of our church buildings for a Group Service.
