The church will be open in daylight hours on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays for personal reflection and prayer until 12 April 2021, after which it will be open from 9am to 6pm daily.
In addition, the church will be open over Easter (2 - 4 April), with a service on Good Friday afternoon at 2pm.
We are not sanitising surfaces, but there is a sanitising station inside the door, washbasins and an NHS track and trace code.

From 9 May 2021, the past pattern of Holy Communion at 8.30am on the second Sunday of each month will begin again.

In the meantime, there is an online church group service via Zoom led safely from leaders' homes at 10am most Sundays. The Zoom link is https://zoom.us/j/993672961 (meeting ID: 993672961). The passcode is 123. Zoom is a very friendly videoconferencing facility that works on any device. Just visit the link and you will get in. The service is also being livestreamed to the Hethel facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/hethel).

Monday to Thursday at 9.15am (for about 30 minutes) there is also Morning Prayer by Zoom. Low-key, informal, chatty – the link is https://zoom.us/j/878150264 (meeting ID: 878 150 264). The passcode is 123.

There is also Sunday Worship on BBC1 at 11.45 am and on BBC Radio 4 at 8.10 am there is (a different) Sunday Worship. The Church of England offers a service each Sunday at https://www.churchofengland.org/more/media-centre/church-online/weekly-online-services.

Hethel's pattern of a service of Holy Communion on the second Sunday of the month at 8.30am resumes on Sunday 9 May, 2021. COVID-19 safety rules will still be in place, as they will on 13 June. If the country stays on track, 11 July and into the future will be back to normal, with no more than common-sense rules governing behaviour.
