St Benedict's, Gunton

St Benedict's is a modern church building on Hollingsworth Road. It is home to a congregation whose mission is to live and share the good news of Jesus Christ. We are part of the Diocese of Norwich in the Church of England.

Services are held at St Benedict's on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 9.30am.

Our parish also includes St Peter's, where services are held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 11am. When there is a 5th Sunday in the month we gather together for worship at a Benefice service at one of the churches in our group of parishes.

The building at St Benedict's is used by a pre-school group every morning during term time. We also provide a venue for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, and a WI group.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Safeguarding

Our parish of Gunton is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Chris Songer (Adults) and Cathie Songer (Children) (Email: [email protected] Phone: 01502 566641) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer (Email: [email protected] Phone: 01603 882345). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
