Help us Care for our Sacred Space
Join our Outside Working Party
Our chuchyard is more than just a patch of green. It is the resting place of generations, a sanctuary for wildlife, and a peaceful retreat for refelction. We invite you to join us in caring for this treasured space on Monday 15th September 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Why Volunteer & Who can Volunteer?
Whether you're a passionate gardener, a history buff, or simply someone who wants to help, everyone is welcome - children under 16 should come with a parent or guardian.
What Tasks Are Involved?
We are mainly sorting out the shed, tidying up the churchyard, and having a bonfire if weather permits – we will work inside the church if the weather is too bad.
What Should I Bring?
• Comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the weather on the day
• Sturdy footwear or wellies for walking on uneven ground
• Gardening/protective gloves- spares will be available if you need them
Your enthusiasm!
Refreshments will be provided.
Let’s Keep Our Churchyard Tidy, Safe & Beautiful—Together!
By working in the churchyard, you honour those who have gone before
and care for the living beauty of the present

Safeguarding

At St Mary's in our Parish of Rushall, we are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO Safeguarding Officer, The Reverend Norman Steer, on 01379 854245. If he is not available then please contact:

Sue Brice, Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser
