Following a super family service with Reverend Liz Billett, it was wonderful to see small groups of people, busy around the village looking for the answers to clues in the village scavenger hunt. Who knew there is still a bus timetable even though there are no longer any buses! And what time is it in Wilby - it doesn't change since the church clock stopped many years ago.

After a sharing of the answers in church it was time for a shared picnic - the table in church was overflowing with contributions. During the afternoon David and Dillum set up a rocket firing competition. First the children (& adults) had to design their rocket and then it was fired against a competitor. It certainly did get competitive with little ones running about checking distances flown.

Following on from the fun of the scavenger hunt, villagers met together in church in August for a shared supper and quiz night. Funds raised from the raffle went to the Children's Society.
