David and Kate attended an afternoon tea and award ceremony, hosted by Hugh Dennis, at the Mercers' Hall in London on Monday 24th October.

To be shortlisted for the award, the parishioners created a short video to convince the NCT Friends that All Saints' service to the local and wider communities justified the extra grant and the prestigious award.

In addition to raising the profile of the church's major repair project through the award ceremony, the £10,000 brings All Saints closer to meeting its funding target. The funding is required to carry out major chancel roof and ceiling repairs to ensure the church continues its mission to support outreach partners, help alleviate rural loneliness and isolation, and provide lifelong leaning opportunities for young people and adults.
