Carbrooke: St Peter & St Paul

We invite you to Sunday Church services, activities and events, or to visit the beautiful and historic building.

Carbrooke Church was founded in 1193, by Maud Countess of Clare, and gifted to the Knights Hospitallers. Since then, Carbrooke church has been a centre for worship, hospitality, peace and prayer.

With a 99' tower and situated on the only 'hill' in the area at the centre of Carbrooke, the Church is a focal point.

The church is open daily, 10 am - 4 pm, unless unforeseen circumstances prevent it.

As the parish church, contact us to arrange Baptisms, Marriages or Funerals.

The parish of Carbrooke: St Peter & St Paul is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Norwich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
