SAFEGUARDING (protecting young people and vulnerable adults from being hurt)
If you are being hurt or someone else is being hurt (this can be called 'a safeguarding concern'), below are listed some numbers and websites you can contact for help.
Someone can be hurt or abused in many different ways, for example if someone deliberately hurts or injures you or another person, or If someone always puts you down, shouts at you, ignores you, or makes you feel bad about yourself, or if you are asked to do something you don’t feel is right or are not comfortable doing.
You might be told that it’s your fault, or that they’re punishing you. But nothing makes it okay for someone to hurt you. Abuse is never your fault.*
