St. Mark's will be joining in the celebration of Her Majesty's Jubilee with a morning of events on Saturday 4th June.This is what is happening:Coffee/tea & cake for all(free) 10-11.30(we hope to be outside!)11.45 Dedication of two trees to mark the occasion11.50 Service of thanksgiving for Her Majesty the Queen's 70 year reignAll are warmly invited to join in this special celebration
On Good Friday we are joining forces with Ipswich Road United Reformed Church for a WALK OF WITNESS, it starts at Ipswich Road at 9.30am with stops at Tuckswood Green, various places along Hall Road, then concluding at St.Mark's with a reading of St. John's Passion and prayers about 11am.It is possible to join in at any stage.Easter Day at nb! 10am: Paschal Ceremonies, Eucharist of the Resurrection and joyful hymns.Our main service time will continue at 10am after Easter.Full details on our Facebook page.
Little Lions, the playgroup for the under 5's with their parents/carers returns on January 26th. The long break has produced some changes; we shall now meet in the well equipped and refurbished Church Hall under the leadership of Jessica Debbage. The group will run on Wednesdays 9.30-11.30am in !term-time. It is still free.... with playtime, singing, stories, activities. The Hall is located in the corner of the churchyard, bordering Hall Road. Free parking in the drive way.To enter please use the churchyard entrance(the back door).
