Listen out for our VE day bells

Venue
Lakenham: St Mark
Address
Hall Road Lakenham Norwich, NR1 3HL, United Kingdom

On VE Day, churches sounded their bells to signify the end of the war. St Mark's tower has only 3 bells but nevertheless, this year on 8 May at 6:30pm, we will be joining churches and cathedrals around the nation as they let their bells ring out - an opportunity to reflect and give thanks for the peace that so many sacrificed their lives for during the Second World War.

Lakenham: St Mark

St Mark's is the parish church at heart of New Lakenham.  Everyone is welcome to attend our services and events, to come to our Wednesday cafe and to bring children to our toddler group. Whether you enjoy a quiet space or  good music you will find the right  time for you.

We love to see children at our services and dogs are welcome too.  There is an accessible toilet, baby changing facilities and room to park in the churchyard.

As well as at the cafe we serve refreshments after the service.
