Easter Dawn Service

for 1 hour
Thruxton: St Bartholomew
B4348 Thruxton Hereford, HR2 9AX, United Kingdom

Gathering in Thruxton churchyard at dawn on Easter morning, we light the Easter fire and sing hymns of praise to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. As part of this service, we share in communion from the reserved sacrament.
This service is followed by a simple Easter breakfast.

Allensmore: St Andrew's

Welcome to St Andrew's, our village church. Our parish is a member of the Twin Brooks Benefice, which in turn is part of the Abbeydore Deanery in the diocese of Hereford.   A guide to our services, the church itself and its history can be found under allensmore.org.uk.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Allensmore is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO (Carol Williams 07503 181028) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (Lisa Anderson 07999 028076). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
