If you would like to see the rebuilding work in progress for our National Lottery Heritage Fund project at our sister church, St John the Baptist Church, we are offering 2 Hard Hat Visits at 9.30 and 11 am on Saturday October 24th. This is the best time to see the 16th century spire while the external cladding is off before the winter weather sets in.
Participants must be 18 or over - and numbers are restricted, with places available on a first come, first served basis. To go aloft on the tower scaffolding you need a head for heights; to be wearing jeans or trousers and sturdy, sensible shoes; and to be fit enough to climb 7 or 8 flights of stairs.
Our main contractor, Dan Paddock, will provide hard hats and hi-viz tabards. Dan will be on hand answer technical questions about the building and carpentry work, and the Churchwarden, Bobbie, will handle questions about the Heritage Fund project and the church history.
Full details are on the attached flyer.

Boraston Church

Welcome to the page of Boraston Church.  This is one of two Listed medieval churches in the ecclesiastical parish of Nash and Boraston - our sister church is St John the Baptist at Nash.  We have 2 services a month in the parish - Morning Prayer here at Boraston at 11 am on the 4th Sunday every month, and Holy Communion at Nash Church on the 1st Sunday. Major festivals are additional, and they alternate between the two churches.

We are part of Tenbury Team Ministry. All the churches in the Team are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSOs. The Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
