The church organ was recently serviced by Iain Harvey Ashenhurst and his colleague Ben. Iain and Ben came to us from Lincoln but they travel much farther than Lincoln to Bucknell. They look after church organs in Wales and in London.

I was surprised to find out that our organ has 500 pipes, some are 8 foot tall. I was only aware of the decorative pipes that are on show but there are so many more hidden behind the wooden panelling. It looked to be a rather inaccessible place to have to climb up into.

The organ now sounds beautiful again, and is fit for our wonderful organist, Joyce, to play.
