The Christmas Choral Workshop – Wednesday 17 th December from 10.00am until 5.30pm followed by a performance at the Christmas Lessons and Carols Service.
The Holy Week Choral Workshop has been feature of the St Cuthbert’s calendar for more than twenty years. Alistair Auld has run the workshop since Robert Bunting passed away. This year Alistair will run a special Christmas Choral Workshop. The pieces rehearsed during the day will be performed at
the Lessons and Carols Service in the evening.
If you are a singer and would like to participate, please can you let Alastair know by emailing him at [email protected] . It is essential that you
indicate your name and preferred singing part (SAT or B). The cost for attending the workshop will be £15 per participant to cover expenses.

The Christmas Lessons and Carols is a traditional service and this year we will be supported by a sizeable choir led by Alistair Auld. The choir will be
meeting during the day at the Christmas Choral Workshop and will lead us singing Christmas Carols as well as performing a few Christmas pieces. An opportunity to sing your heart out and to get into the spirit of Christmas. The Christmas Lessons and Carols service will be at 6pm on Wednesday 17 th December.

Celebrating Christmas
The Crib Service is a service for all ages. At 6pm on Christmas Eve it’s the time by which everything that needs to be done has been done. A time to relax and think about what Christmas is really about. The Crib Service is one of our most popular services of the year. A time to sing your favorite carols, enjoy a family occasion that will set you up for the 12 days of Christmas.
