Our weekly meditation group is held every Thursday from 4.45pm. Led by Carole Dixon and Bob Bates, all are welcome, whether you are a person of faith or no faith, a seeker, or simply acknowledging the need for quiet reflection, join this group for half an hour of silent meditation, plus gentle reflection afterwards. for more information contact Anna on [email protected] Dress warmly and/or bring a blanket.

Help us keep our church and churchyard looking lovely. Bring tools if you have them, refreshments provided. If the weather is wet an cold, we have jobs inside the church, from dusting to examining the contents of the filing cabinet. Who knew we had so much!

There are tasks for everyone, from gentle dusting to furniture moving. And if it's dry there is still plenty to do outside. Do join us.

Beatitudes Study Evenings

The final two sessions of our exploration of the Beatitudes using the work of contemporary theologians; poetry; silence and meditation will take place on the 8th and 15th September.

Coffee morning for Venezuela
On 9th July, it was agreed that all of the income we received from coffee sales at our regular St Cuthbert’s Café would be donated to Christian Aid’s appeal for
Venezuelan earthquake victims. Those, together with some additional donations received afterwards, enabled us to send the magnificent amount of £600 to
Christian Aid. Many thanks to everyone who donated.

Sacred Space is an opportunity to come together in St Cuthbert's Church, Clungunford, 11/9/26, 5.45pm for a 6 o’clock start.
Our first Sacred Space of the new season! Come and celebrate the approach of autumn with us as we ‘take advice from a raindrop’ (from a poem of the same name by Kim Stafford) and enjoy beautiful music alongside short periods of silent meditation. This event will finish at 7pm. This is an inclusive group and all are very, very welcome. Dates until Christmas are as follows:

We hold a Communion Service on the 4th Sunday of the month. As we are without a Vicar at the moment, we are being well looked after by various generous and kind Priests living locally. We are finding the variety in the services and the reflections is stimulating. The service is followed by refreshments and cake.

Celebration of the completion of the Bell Tower Project

Using money raised by National Lottery players, The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports projects that connect people and communities with the UK’s heritage. The Bell Tower Project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to repair the roof, repoint the walls, re-gild the clock and the weather vein. All securing the future of the village church for the future use of generations for a variety of religious and social events.

Celebration of the completion of the Bell Tower Project: October 4th, 3pm
Do join us for an afternoon celebration (with lots of lovely wine and cheese) as we look back at our successful project to repair the bell tower, and look forward to welcoming all of you into our beautiful church - whether this is for traditional services, like our Sunday services; Harvest Supper; Christmas services and more.
