Great Hanwood: St Thomas

We are a friendly welcoming community with an emphasis on biblical teaching and Holy Spirit led ministry. We praise God for being with us, blessing us, supporting us and giving us peace and security in times of trial, and encouraging us with answers to prayer. We welcome all people irrespective of their traditions and backgrounds.

The parish of Great Hanwood is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Great Hanwood is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Hereford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Mrs Alison Bebb, on 01743 860158 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor on 07875 757396. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
